What Is the Main Route from Xiamen to Cuixi?

Amap, Apple Maps and Baidu all search "Cuixi Villa (Changtai Mayangxi)." If multiple results appear, pick the one at "No.69 Zhuman Yuan, 2899 Xingtai East Rd," coordinates 24.591274, 117.838127. Dianping lists the doorplate as "2899 Xingtai East Rd" — the same entrance under a different label.

Backup Routes to Avoid Peaks

Backup A: Xiamen Bridge → Xiarong Expressway

Xinglin Bridge jams on Friday evenings; take Xiamen Bridge onto Xiarong Expressway (G76), then transfer to Shenhai at the Changtai hub — about 6 km longer but clears the Xinglin Bridge bottleneck. Still under 50 minutes total.

Backup B: Jimei Bridge → Xiasha Expressway → Shenhai

For guests from Jimei, take Jimei Bridge to Xiasha Expressway then Shenhai; about 55 minutes from Jimei School Village to Cuixi, with lighter traffic — a good pick for Saturday morning departures.

Tip: Friday 18:00–20:00 and Sunday 15:00–18:00 are peaks on the Shenhai Xinglin section; shift your time or use a backup route.

Where to Fuel and Rest En Route?

• Xinglin Service Area: the first service area after entering the expressway, with a Sinopec station, convenience store and restroom; top up water before departure.
• No service area before Changtai exit: Xinglin to Changtai is ~38 km with no service area; fuel up in advance. If low, a PetroChina station sits 2 km after the Changtai exit.
• Along the county road: small shops and local fruit stalls; in summer buy Changtai grapes and dragon fruit.

Parking on Arrival

Cuixi Villa fits 6–8 cars at the gate, and even a team bus can park. On arrival:

1. Navigation ends at the main gate, marked with a "Cuixi Villa" sign.
2. Park in the designated spots; the butler comes out to welcome you and help with luggage.
3. At check-in (after 14:00) the butler shows you the pool, KTV, kitchen and other shared areas.
4. Check-out is before 12:00; you can keep enjoying the courtyard or surroundings.

Small Sights to Hit Along the Way

If time allows, stop by these before or after arrival:

How to Reach Cuixi Without Driving

• Xiamen → Changtai bus: Xiamen Wucun bus station has direct buses to Changtai, ~70 min; then a taxi to the villa ~15 min, about ¥20.
• Ride-hailing / taxi: from Xiamen island directly to the villa, about ¥150–200, good for 3–4 people.
