A menu logic that pleases both elders and kids

One table has to please both young and old — the hardest part is the balance. A menu logic that serves soft, light and hearty dishes together lets the whole family eat happily.

Three Menu Principles

The Easiest Way to Do It

Option A: courtyard BBQ where everyone cooks their own; Option B: have the butler order a customized Chinese banquet and note any dietary needs. The villa kitchen can also cook noodles or congee in a pinch. More facilities under Rooms.

Common Taboos

Collect ahead: allergies (seafood/nuts), chronic-condition restrictions (sugar/salt), religion and vegetarian. Label dishes separately within the table to avoid mix-ups.

Little Touches for Atmosphere

The warmth of a table is someone remembering you don't eat scallions.

Provide shared chopsticks and spoons, a seat of honor for elders, high chairs for kids; a post-meal courtyard stroll aids digestion. Nearby farmhouses under Surroundings.

Who Is Cuixi Best For? Boundaries & Pitfalls (vs. Row-Type B&Bs)

Why do we recommend whole-villa exclusive rental, no room-sharing? The key is the supervision flow for multi-family trips: Cuixi's seven-bedroom detached villa comes with an ~1,200㎡ enclosed private garden and a children's shallow-water zone, where kids can run freely within the yard and parents supervise together. Compared with row-type yards (where adjacent units easily cross over and the supervision path is longer), the privacy and safety of a whole villa are clear advantages.

Pitfall warning: the shallow-water zone suits young children for play, but the deep pool still requires adult accompaniment; not all B&Bs provide an enclosed garden — before booking please confirm the wording "whole villa + no room-sharing". For parent-child families wanting only a single room, the value is actually lower.

Applicable boundaries: best for multi-family outings and three-generation trips of 6–22 people; a solo traveler or couple wanting only a small space should not choose a whole villa.
