This is a typical scenario (not a single real case) based on common guest profiles at Cuixi Villa: three close families go away together for a weekend — 6 adults, 4 children (ages 3–8), and two medium-sized dogs — looking for a place where adults can relax, kids can burn energy, and dogs are welcome too. They chose Cuixi Villa's 7-bedroom whole-villa rental and stayed two nights.

The two medium-sized dogs needed no extra fee — a pleasant surprise, since many B&Bs they'd stayed at before either rejected large dogs or charged high cleaning fees.

Once there, the dogs' favorite spot was the ~1,200m² private courtyard — morning walks and sunbathing, while the kids played by the pool in the afternoon and the dogs rested in the shade. Important note: pets are not allowed in indoor public areas or bedrooms, so Family A brought pet mats to give the dogs a fixed resting area in the courtyard.

About the pool and soak pools: the pool is exclusively for guest swimming — for hygiene reasons pets are not recommended in the pool; the soak pools are high-temperature water, please keep pets out. The two dogs were curious about the pool at first, but their owners remembered the rule and only let them stay in the poolside lounge area, not in the water.

Please bring: pet food, water bowls, pee pads and cleaning supplies. Family A also brought extra towels for wiping the dogs' paws. Safety & hygiene: keep pets on a leash in the courtyard and public areas for everyone's safety; clean up after your pet and the whole villa is deep-cleaned after your stay for the next guests. We recommend pets are fully vaccinated before travel; the final policy is per your booking confirmation.

Scene 2: Four Kids' Pool Time

The four kids, aged 3 to 8, were most excited about the pool. Family B worried most about safety, and after arrival found that Cuixi's pool design genuinely considers children: a dedicated kids' shallow pool area, separately circulated from the adult area — even the 3-year-old could play safely in the shallow end.

Pool water quality management also put parents at ease: residual chlorine is controlled at 0.3–0.5mg/L within the national standard range, pH (7.2–7.8) is tested daily and posted, and the poolside is equipped with life rings and safety gear. Still, Family B insisted on constant parental supervision — no matter how good the facilities, parental supervision is the first line of defense.

Beyond the pool, the kids had plenty of energy-burning space: kids' slide theme room, kids' football pitch, outdoor cinema. After an afternoon at the pool, they watched an outdoor movie in the courtyard at night — four kids huddled together, and the adults finally got to sit down and chat.

Travel tips: bring your own kids' swimwear, spare clothes and basic medicine; for multi-family stays with kids, let us know headcount and kids' ages when booking so we can arrange rooms and kids' facilities. This time, the three families mentioned the 4 kids in advance, and the housekeeper specifically assigned the kids' slide theme room to Family B, who had the most children.

Scene 3: The Elderly Family's Accessible Experience

Family C brought two elders in their 60s, initially worried that B&B facilities wouldn't be as complete as a hotel. After arrival, they found that elderly-friendly design with gentle circulation throughout made it easy for the elders to walk around, with no tripping hazards from steps.

For room arrangement, Family C specifically chose rooms near the quiet wing — elders rest in the quiet wing while kids play in the activity area; multi-generational families share one villa without disturbing each other. During the day, the elders walked and sunbathed in the courtyard; in the afternoon, they soaked in the mountain-spring heated soak pool to relax their muscles and bones; at night, while the kids played in the courtyard, the elders could rest in their rooms without being disturbed.

For meals, the kitchen allows self-catering, making it convenient for elders and kids. Family C's elders were used to light food, so they cooked in the kitchen this time — more to their taste than eating out. If you don't want to cook, the Changtai town centre (supermarkets & restaurants) is ~15 minutes away, making shopping and dining out convenient.
